Through an exploration of preservation this rug design seeks to capture the nostalgia of the library experience. Constructed by first imitating childhood investigation; flowers pressed between the pages of favourite books create new patterning, this was then reconsidered, deconstructed and compressed- resulting in a borrowed innocence translated into 2D imagery.
