Artist Statement

My work is born of a deep appreciation for the revival of craft and community as a guiding light in establishing exciting new cultures in which individuals are brought together through the sharing of skills and experience to create a world that is both more sustainable and beautiful. Constantly seeking out inspiring new experiences I consider myself a trans-disciplinary designer chasing new ways of illustrating the poetry and possibility that exists within our everyday activities. I am fascinated by lost art forms, living traditions and the potential of deconstructing and re-purposing these practices into tangible strategies for developing sustainable futures.
