Technique and methodology is integral to the art I am particularly interested in. In a contemporary society where the machine made has become the norm, I have become drawn to art that communicate a disciplined, skillful, and handmade quality.My body of work explores the ever fading notion of the ‘handmade’. I am essentially deconstructing and reconstructing traditional techniques, appropriating the processes using contemporary materials.
