I believe that a truly considered and effective design solution involves an awareness of the entire designed space, be that the physical or theoretical space. As such though my main focus is textiles I find that a project is never completed without delving into some other focus. As a result I rely heavily on my experience with both environments and graphics. At this juncture I am fascinated with new technologies and exploring how they can be successfully incorporated into design outcomes. I balance this fascination with a strong love of history and constant research into past design movements.
