Pub[l]ic
This work examines the ideological/gendered/sexual values associated with the growth/control/removal of pubic hair. Textiles become a dynamic vessel which encourage dialogue concerning the physical and social body. Imagery alludes to the euphemistic over-simplification employed by mainstream media — the undergarments making pubic rhetoric, quite literally, a visible topic of discussion.
