This work investigates Western pubic depilation/ornamentation trends, and associated social/sexual/commercial values. It critiques mass culture’s influence and questions our compliance to the beauty industry. Deceptive embellishments emphasise the dishonesty of media and the unsettling nature of our eternal desire to permanently possess an idealised and transitory concept of beauty.
