* (2011)Off the Body Into the Building is a multi disciplinary conceptual response to the ordeals experienced by workers in Sierra Leone and Angola during the occupation of these countries by Rebel groups who attempted to gain political power through the illegal trade of diamonds. The piece is a five day endurance performance that aims to examine the affect of the brutality that was endured by the workers and the resulting affect of these rebel groups. The performance will also be accompanied by a conceptual video piece and the end result of the performace will be a sculptural instalation.
