Vegetable Textile
This work was part of my project for my third year, Eating in the City work. Using unused vegetables that would have otherwise gone to waste I created art through the form of fashion. By combining the genres of food, art, design and fashion I aimed to attract the attention of people of all types. I used non- traditional textiles to create this piece. This work comments on the social and ethical notion of food wastage in all communities- some more than others.
