Template for Healing
This work originated in response to an involuntary memory- triggered by a suspender. The work grew into an imaginary discourse/letter to my Grandmother, designed to heal emotional wounds and erase memories she carried from childhood. Here, I've recreated the restrictive 'foundation garment' she habitually wore, in protective tissue and muslin.
