This object is designed to both inspire and commemorate the ongoing work of conservationists to protect wilderness areas such as the Tarkine wilderness in Tasmania. By representing the beauty of the transient fungi of the rainforest floor, the object conveys the transient nature of wilderness if it is not protected.
