Fragmentation
The design depicts the critically endangered Blue Gum High Forest ecological community. Eco prints of windfall leaves on re-purposed silk fragments echo the fragmentation of the forest community while representing the canopy and the leaf litter. The sculptural form of the tree trunks are captured with a tactile handspun yarn.
