Back to the Body 2011
The project evolved rather fluidly and according to the application guidelines of Bondi: Sculpture by the Sea incorporated 2011. However this image (film still) captured from the original video performance is part of the 8:20 minute digital film component within this project. A project involving cross-disciplinary modalities of sculpture, performance and film that was performed at an outdoor location at the sea-side. The Back to the Body 2011 performance piece is structured in such a unique way as to encourage an original and inspiring vision, that which truly supported my autonomy as a multi-genre artist. The works created throughout my projects including my graduate exhibition have been installed across a broad range of sites albeit locational scenarios both after and throughout the basic stages of manufacture.
