Momentum is the only constant (2011)
This body of work begun with photographs, that document my daily trip home. Exploring vision and perception in relation to momentum; the abstract photos developed into moody charcoal drawings. Layering and collage materialised a flat drawing into a somewhat 3D form. Choreographing the drawings beyond the plane and off the wall expands my exploration of the relationship between the two and three dimensional. The large scale panorama attempts to capture the energy and movement of the trip.
