This work explores alternate mark making and ways of seeing, inspired by Victorian Floriography, simulacrum, Pointillism, Ishihara tests, Chuck Close and pixels. Hundreds of hand cut felt circles were hand stitched together in the image of a cactus to convey physical and emotional yearning for connectivity to the external world.
