Red Ribbon of Fate
The smooth movement in Chinese calligraphy is captured through the use of the red ribbon. The emotions, swivels, and the flow created in calligraphy are also implied through the Chinese zodiac, the Snake. This design is influenced by the myth of the red thread, where it 'ties' two people together.
