Artist Statement

Eloise Weston is an emerging designer whose passion lies in jewellery and small-scale objects, with other interests in textiles and graphic pattern.

Through gaining practical manufacturing skills and learning to think like a designer, Eloise has explored the notion of a wearable in very distinct and conceptual ways, which can be seen as interactive and subjective. Her pieces are often designed with the intention to gain a physical or emotional response, which in the hope will trigger a change in behaviour of not only the wearer but also of the viewer by provoking creative thinking.
