Artist Statement

I am a Sydney based printmaker, with a background in architecture.

My most recent work explores themes of alienation in landscapes such as the moon, the desert and battlefields. These places share commonalities in lost souls, scoured and bleached terrain and cycles of bombardment and erasure. They are also destinations that are compelling for those wanting to go to the limits. Many of my etchings are black and white in keeping with the starkness of the themes.

During my time at COFA I was involved in custom printing at Cicada Press.
